Spaced Repetition
is repeated exposure to an idea at regularly spaced intervals. This learning
technique is a proven strategy which increases understanding and acceptance and
transforms knowledge into habits and actions.
A Multi-Sensory Impact is a sound learning principal involving more than
one of the five senses in the learning process. In addition, this training
session will use cooperative group activities designed to foster a sense of
community and cooperative spirit.
What is the program? How does it work? What will it do for participants?
This is a principled centered program whose outcome is assisting students in
goal direction and self motivation. Picture two students:
Participant one got up
to listen to the radio or watch television (all the negatives). Then, in
school or work they talk to their friends and hear about drugs, crime, and who
knows what else. Nothing but negatives!
Participant two got up, organized his/her identified goals, and reviewed the
plan of action. This participant is filled with thoughts from the Institute's
program, maybe even listened to the program on the way to school or work. This
participant filled his/her mind with positive thoughts.
Which one will
arrive at school or work better prepared to have a productive day?
"Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon, must inevitably come to pass."
